However, its style commands a more advanced performance; otherwise, the full meaning of the text wouldn't be very convincing. This is one of my favorites of his--A truly beautiful work that's worth every second of.

Weckermann Location: Marburg, Germany Difficulty Level: Advanced • 2007-04-30 00:00:00.0 extraordinary piece if done right. Like all pieces by e. Whitacre this also is a extraordinary piece of music. The text is a wedding blessing, and the music is wonderfully flowing if done correctly. A nice contrast to the usual bombasto-wedding-music.

I only rated it 4 stars because it depends heavily on the. Setting - if the acoustics are too 'dry', you won't be able to spread the full magic of the music. Also it is kind of repeating it's musical theme once too often - for me. There is a wonderful recording available sung by polyphony.
